Symbols; what do they Represent?

The Cross : This unites the antecedent denominations, and represents Jesus Christ as the head of the Church

The Open Bible: This represents the centrality of the word. It is also a feature of the logo of the former Congregational Union.

The Chalice: This represents the death and resurrection of Christ and it was used as a symbol for the former Disciples of Christ.

The Burning Bush: This represents the perpetual flame of the gospel and it is used as a symbol of the Presbyterian Church.

The Sea: This symbolises the church in two nations and the witness across the Caribbean Sea and a witness beyond the boundaries of the Caribbean
